To the editor:
The citizens of the 51st Assembly District are very fortunate to have some good candidates running for the open seat. Each candidate brings their own qualifications and experiences to the race.
For myself and Lafayette County Sheriff Scott Pedley, there is one candidate, Dodgeville Mayor Todd Novak, who stands above the rest and has earned our support.
Todd has the knowledge and experience as an effective leader on public safety issues for our communities. He understands the challenges local law enforcement officers are facing and we are confident he will fight for the tools we need to protect our families and communities.
Todd has always been devoted to helping people and we know he would carry that passion to the state assembly. He is a leader and would be a strong advocate for the residents in this district and has always put people over politics.
