Infield: Tara Allen, sr, Juda; Melissa Carmody, sr, Barneveld; Gabi Lehner, sr, Black Hawk; Ellie Gifford, so, Pecatonica; Katlyn DeVoe, fr, Juda.

Catcher: Brooke Arneson, jr, Barneveld; Megan Trotter, so, Juda

Pitcher: Amber Ramos, fr, Juda; Mary Hershberger, sr, Monticello

Utility: Kelly Mueller, jr, Barneveld; Megan Farley, so, Albany

Youth and veteran talents alike received nods for 2009 Six Rivers East All-Conference softball honors. Argyle senior Kelsey Ostby was named overall Player of the Year, while Juda freshman Amber Ramos was tabbed as Pitcher of the Year.

Ramos led Juda to an 11-1 record in the Six Rivers East, winning the conference by two games over Barneveld. Meanwhile, Ostby was the top hitter in the conference and sparked the Orioles (5-7) in big wins over Juda and Black Hawk.

Four teammates joined Ramos on the first team: Senior Tara Allen (infield), sophomores Megan Trotter (catcher) and Aly Pierce (outfield) and freshman Katlyn DeVoe (infield).

Monticello senior Mary Hershberger (pitcher) and sophomore Taylor Pfeuti (outfield) were the top honored Ponies. Black Hawk's Gabi Lehner (infield) was named to the first-team infield, as were sophomores Ellie Gifford (Pecatonica, infield) and Megan Farley (Albany, utility).

Barneveld's Melissa Carmody, Brooke Arneson, Taylor Ruchti and Kelly Mueller rounded out the first team.

Argyle's Sierra Granberg (senior), Kelsey Bartels (sophomore) and Jodi Fischer (sophomore) each made the honorable mention list. Albany senior Jillian McNeely and junior Clare Koopmans also earned honorable mention, as did Pecatonica seniors Abby Smith-Krause and Kristin Johnson, Monticello freshman Becky Nelson and senior Courtney Foulker and Barneveld's Chelsey Watkins, Brooke Allen and Caitlin Jordee.

Monticello finished third in the conference standings with a 6-6 record. Argyle, Black Hawk and Pecatonica each were 5-7, and Albany finished 1-11.
