MONROE - The Cheesemakers tied Reedsburg Tuesday in a Badger Conference crossover, 1-1 in two overtimes.
Belsazar Castellanos scored Monroe's only goal 9 minutes, 35 seconds into the game. Reedsburg tied the score in the 17th minute on a shot by Joshua DeBlock.
Monroe goalkeeper Kramer Henning had 11 saves. The Cheesemakers were on the offensive attack all night, taking 15 shots on goal.
"This was a game that Monroe should have won," Cheesemakers head coach Tony Stamm said. "We had too many missed opportunities, but the team overall did a great job considering playing one player short most of the second half."
Cody Stamm received a red card in the 46th minute for sliding into Reedsburg's goalie, forcing the Cheesemakers to play with one less player the rest of the game.
