MADISON - The CrossFit Games will offer single-day festival tickets to the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games in Madison, starting today at a cost of $34.
The games will be held Aug. 3-6 at the Alliant Energy Center.
This is the first time the games will be held outside California. More tickets have been sold for these CrossFit Games than any other in its history, according to a news release.
Jamie Patrick, vice president of the Madison Area Sports Commission, said this new single-day festival ticket allows people more options to see the CrossFit Games up close.
"The CrossFit Games is a can't-miss event for everyone," Patrick said in the release. "Whether you're committed or curious, these single-day Festival Tickets allow more flexibility for people to enjoy the CrossFit Games atmosphere. It's another great way to experience the Games and all that goes into finding the Fittest on Earth."
A four-day festival pass is available for $99. Children under 12 will receive free admission to the festival grounds if accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased at games.crossfit.com or through Ticketmaster.
Festival tickets will grant fans access to not only the masters and teenage competitions, but all the outside events for the teams and individuals. The festival grounds will also offer demonstrations, workout space, exhibits and more, including video boards and a beer garden to watch and enjoy all the action inside the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
