DARLINGTON — The host Redbirds finished third in both the boys and girls team standings at the May 9 Redbird Invitational. Benton-Scales Mound-Shullsburg won the girls title, while Evansville was the boys champion.

SWAL Mid-Season Meet

MUSCODA — The SWAL held its midseason meet May 10 at Riverdale High School.

Darlington had four individual girls win their event, plus a relay. On the boys side, there were two Redbirds that won events.

Raquel Reuter won the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.52. Addison DePauw was the champion in the 800 (2:50.46). Alyza Johnson won the long jump (14-07.5) by a half an inch over teammate Zoie Zuberbuhler. Laura Weaver won the discus (102-3)

Darlington’s 400-meter girls relay team won with a time of 58.76.

On the boys side, Rhett Reuter won the 400 (51.88), and George West won the 800 (2:10.68).
