BELLEVILLE — The Sugar River boys’ soccer team (14-1-1, 6-0 Capitol) extended its winning streak to six games with a 2-0 win over the Wisconsin Dells (11-1, 6-1). The victory solidified the top spot in conference for the Raiders.
Aiden Hatleberg scored both goals, one in the first half and one in the second half. Eli Leonard was credited with the assist on the second goal.
The Raider offense put 22 shots on goal. In net, Clayton Streiff recorded 13 saves.
Sugar River finishes their regular season with games against Watertown Luther Prep (4-7-2, 2-2-2) on Thursday, Oct. 6 and Cambridge/Deerfield (6-6-1, 2-3-1) on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
In other area action, Baraboo defeated Monroe 9-1.
