MONROE — Monroe opened its conference season with a 4-3 win over Stoughton on Friday, Dec. 1. Patrick Alt scored two goals in the affair. Hans Brandt chipped in a power-play goal and Wyatt Janecke tallied a goal in the third period.

Although Stoughton’s Colton Vinson scored a hat trick, Brock Brandli picked up the win in net. He stopped 32 of 35 shots.

KENOSHA 6, BELOIT 4

BELOIT — With two scoreless periods, Beloit was unable to overcome Kenosha on Thursday, Nov. 30. Four different Purple Knights scored in the first period — Max Allen, Cole Rowald, Gavin Brady and Nathan Anastasi. Gentry Grant suffered the loss, allowing five goals on 38 shots.

ROCK COUNTY 5, VIROQUA 0

BELOIT — With Emma Kligora’s hat trick, Rock County Fury blanked Viroqua in its conference opener on Saturday, Dec. 2. She also tallied an assist for a four-point game. The remaining two goals came from Ava Kligora and Sophia Young. Jillian Traver recorded the shutout with 23 saves.
