Last week Monroe Girls Basketball hosted Brodhead in its Monroe Cares event for Molly Babler and her fight against breast cancer. Babler is a 4K teacher at Abraham Lincoln Elementary, and a youth basketball coach for the district’s fourth and seventh grade teams. The game marked the third annual event in the program. This year was a record night, raising over $2,600 for Babler and her family. “We are grateful for all the support and hard work that everyone put into making this night a success,” Monroe head coach Patrick Kenny said. Brodhead won the game 70-29.
