REEDSBURG — The Cheesemakers scored a hard-fought 61-50 win Feb. 1 on the road. Monroe was scoreless for the first seven minutes of the game, but erupted for 61 over the final 29.

Senior Carson Leuzinger scored a game-high 27 points, while JT Seagreaves had 16 and Aaron Roidt eight.

Monroe’s next game was slated for Feb. 4 against Sauk Prairie for Parent’s Night.

In other area action Feb. 1, Black Hawk beat Juda 49-33, Monticello edged Pecatonica 58-52, Brodhead was stunned at home by East Troy 59-52, and Darlington ran past Boscobel 71-44.
