BEAVER DAM - Two Monroe graduates were among 75 golfers to make the cut after Tuesday's second round of the State Amateur golf tournament at Old Hickory Golf Club in Beaver Dam.
Nick Krattiger, a 2005 Monroe alum, is in a 10-way tie in 42nd place after shooting a 77 Tuesday for an 8-over (152).
Brent Quade, a 2006 WIAA Division 2 state champion who golfs at the University of Northern Iowa, shot a 73 Tuesday to just make the cut.
Quade rebounded from an opening round 81, and is in a 10-way tie for 64th place at 10-over (154).
