The Panthers won the first game 21-4 and the nightcap 12-1.

The Panthers got multi-hit games from Nicki Becker (2-for-3), Kirsten Oliver (4-for-5), Hailey Kammerer (2-for-2, double), Sammi Detra (3-for-4), Briana Crull (2-for-3), Maddie Roth (3-for-3, 4 RBIs) and Victoria Euclide-Petig (2-for-2). Monticello was held to just one hit between a combined effort from Becker and Roth on the mound.

In Game 2, Karlee Kesler was the only player with multiple hits, finishing with two.

Monticello pitched Claire Klossner and Miah Brokopp in each game. The pair walked 14 batters in each contest but allowed just four hits in the nightcap.

Becker struck out five in two innings in Game 1 and 11 in five innings of Game 2.

"What I admire from Monticello is they've kept the program going," Juda-Albany coach Bill Davis said. "It's hard to have a program with only nine or 10 players. It shows school pride."
