MONROE - Brodhead-Juda senior Nick Jacobson was named first-team all-state by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Associa-tion as a defensive end.
Jacobson's teammate, senior Alex Wallace, was placed on the second team as a defensive back. Brod-head-Juda (11-2) has moved on to the state-title game against Kewau-nee (13-0).
Dar-lington senior lineman Joey Hull was also named to the second-team as a defensive lineman. The Redbirds (12-1) lost in the semifinals to Brillion (13-0)
Jacobson, Wallace and Hull were honored as all-region players by the WFCA as well. Darlington senior quarterback Alex Erickson was all-region as both a defensive back and as a quarterback. Brodhead-Juda seniors Jesse DeLorme (middle linebacker) and Mike Peterson (wide receiver) and Darlington senior Colton Hacket (offensive lineman) were also honored with all-region status.
Kenosha Bradford senior running back Melvin Gordon was named offensive player of the year and Arrowhead senior defensive back Derek Landisch was defensive player of the year.
