DARLINGTON - Four Darlington baseball and softball players have been named to SWAL all-conference teams.
Senior Colton Carpenter, a right-handed hitting catcher, was named to the baseball first-team. Teammate and fellow senior Jason Boll was chosen honorable mention.
Darlington's baseball team finished the conference season with an 8-6 record, good enough for fourth in the league. Mineral Point and Southwestern tied for first with identical 13-1 records.
The Redbirds' softball team was 0-14 in conference in 2010, but had two players receive postseason honors. Junior Amber Peters was named to the first-team and fellow junior Elle Westerman was honorable mention.
Cuba City won the league with an 11-3 record.
