MONROE - The 35th annual Monroe Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament, the last of three summer tennis tournaments sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, is slated for Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament is open to anyone high-school age and older. The fee is $20 per team and all teams are guaranteed two matches. The fee can be paid the day of the tournament.
There could be two brackets, depending on the teams' abilities, but in recent years there has only been one bracket.
The tournament is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Recreation Park. To enter, call tournament director Jim Bartholf at (608) 325-9402.
