BRODHEAD - Sophomore Justice Tway scored a game-high 26 points to help the Brodhead High School boys basketball team roll to an 82-53 win over Edgerton on Tuesday.
Sophomore Parker Johnson added 16 points, and sophomore Brekan Day had 14 points. Brodhead's Robbie Price chipped in 10 points.
The Cardinals made 21 of 29 free throws, led by Price, who was 6 of 8, and Johnson, who was 6 of 9.
The Cardinals (5-11, 3-8 Rock Valley South) jumped out to a 29-17 lead at the half. Tway scored 18 points in the second half as the Cardinals outscored the Crimson Tide 53-36.
Edgerton's Jackson Erickson scored a team-high 15 points and was 11 of 12 at the free throw line.
Edgerton drops to 4-11, 4-7 Rock Valley North.
