ARGYLE - The Argyle softball team took advantage of six errors by Mineral Point to knock off the Pointers 7-4 in a nonconference game Friday.

Argyle (7-5, 1-3 Six Rivers East) scored two runs in the first inning off two errors by the Pointers.

Argyle sophomore Natalie Romdemme went 2-for-3 with one RBI and sophomore Jadyn Saalsaa also went 2-for-3.

Sophomore Kirsten Ostby had a single in the third. She stole second and scored on an error. Romdemme then had an RBI single to score Kayla Butler-Paulson to give the Orioles a 4-1 lead. Butler-Paulson had an RBI single in the fourth to help the Orioles take a 6-1 lead.

Argyle junior Kaylie Berget pitched a complete game to get the win. She gave up three earned runs on 10 hits. She struck out three and walked none.
