MONROE - The annual Monroe Alumni basketball tournament, sponsored by the Monroe boys basketball team, has postponed the event to Dec. 29 and 30. Games will start both days at 6:30 p.m. at the high school.

The original event was scheduled to be played Saturday, Nov. 27, however with the funeral of Monsignor Thomas Campion taking place in the gym, there is no room for the tournament.

The Monroe wrestling scrimmage that was also scheduled for Nov. 27 has also been cancelled.
