Sandra “Sandy” Kay Corning, 74, passed away at home on March 12, 2024. She was born on December 23, 1949, in Monroe, WI, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Rude) Hanson. She attended Blanchardville Schools. 

On June 16, 1973, she married Robert “Bob” Corning Jr. in Argyle, WI. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2022. For over 29 years she was a Production Manager at Stricklers/ New Glarus Foods/ Jack Links until retiring in 2014. Sandy put everyone else before herself. She was a caretaker to many and always made sure no one went without. Sandy loved her pets, especially her dogs and cats. 

Sandra is survived by her children; Jason Corning of Janesville, WI, Jeremy (Rebecca) Corning of Monroe, WI, grandchildren; Cain, Colton, Caitlyn; brothers, Randy Hanson of Argyle, WI and Kim Hanson of Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Adrienne.
