Paul J. Moyer, age 59, of Monroe passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born the son of Gary and Donna (Condor) Moyer on August 9, 1961 in Freeport. Paul was a graduate of Orangeville High School; he attended Marshall University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Teaching. Paul was united in marriage to Regina S. Hicks on November 13, 1987 in Geneva, IL.

Paul worked for Livesey Painting Company in Madison for his entire working career, retiring in 2018. He was also a proud member of the Local Union #802; and taught the apprenticeship program at his work. In his free time Paul enjoyed golfing, fishing, riding motorcycles, and visiting at Baumgartner’s Cheese Store and Tavern, on the square. He attended St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor’s Catholic Church.

Paul is survived by his wife of 33 years, Regina; daughters, Jackie Beach, Kenda (Samuel) Martinez, and Megan Moyer; six grandchildren, Olivia, Peyton, Aiden, Cambree, Caleb, and Landon; mother, Donna (Jerry) Haefner; brothers, Bill (Stacey) Moyer and Rick (Penny) Luy; sisters, Ruth, Beth, and Patty; as well as, many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Moyer; daughter, Amber Moyer; twin sister, Paulette, and sister, Ann-Marie in infancy.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, January 15, 2021 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Monsignor Larry Bakke as celebrant. Burial will take place at Bethel Hawthorne Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Paul’s name. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
