Pamela J. Parker, age 62, of Monticello went home to be with the Lord and her husband on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 31, 1962 the daughter of Aaron and Jeanette (Thompson) Muralt. She graduated in 1980 from Albany High School. In April of 1990 Pam was united in marriage to Michael Parker.
Pam worked at Dorman Cheese for ten years and JCPenney for 7 years. Her true calling was caring for children, whether they were her own or not. She poured love and attention into every life she touched. She was a member of the New Glarus Bible Church and the Albany Lion’s Club. An avid supporter of her children's sports and fine arts events, she rarely missed a chance to cheer them on. She also enjoyed traveling with her family. Above all, moments spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren were Pam's favorite.
Pam is survived by her children, Nathan (Sydnei) Parker of Monroe, Grant (Samantha) Parker of Monticello, Reed (Morgan) Parker of Abilene, TX, Ava (Nick Neviaser) Parker of Sauk City, Shaianna (Mack Gapinski) Parker of Fitchburg, Leon Parker of Monticello, Kamron Parker of Monticello; grandchildren, Emma, Ben, and Jackson Parker; several foster children; siblings, Billy (Greg Morritz) Muralt, Jeff (Darla) Muralt, Georgean (Roger) Hunt, Mariann (Gerald) Rufer, Lisa (Tom Germann) Olson, Donna (Scott Bredeson) Muralt, Matt (Jenny ) Muralt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Timothy, Michael, and Kenny; and her loving husband, Michael.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Glarus Bible Church. Burial will follow at Gap Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Albany Sports Boosters. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
