Monroe High School held its annual Homecoming Parade on Friday afternoon, October 2. The community spread across the rout from the former high school on the south side of town to around the downtown square. Parade floats included the high school’s Homecoming Court, including King and Queen Caleb Mazahreh and Kaya Holverson, fall sports teams, cheer and dance teams, clubs and organizations, individual district instructional buildings, area youth programs, businesses, and the Green County and area Dairy Queens. More photos from Monroe’s Homecoming parade, plus other area school’s Homecomings from this past week will appear in the digital-only Monroe Times E-Edition on Saturday, October 10.
