Age 80, of Juda, died Friday, March 15, 2024 at the New Glarus Home. Brad was born on March 23, 1943 in Monroe, the son of Kenneth and Carrie (Arnsmeier) Zimmerman. He graduated from Juda High School in 1961 and was united in marriage to Karen Lehr on October 30, 1965 at the Juda Zion United Methodist Church. Brad worked as a press operator for Moore Business Forms in Monroe for 38 years until retiring in 2008. Brad loved spending time with his family and watching his children and granddaughter’s sporting events. He enjoyed quality time with his family, friends, and co-workers whether they were bowling, fishing, shooting pool, camping, or just visiting. Brad was also an avid Badgers, Packers, and Brewers fan.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Karen Zimmerman; son, Mark Zimmerman; daughter, Dawn Golackson, all of Juda; granddaughter, Taylor Golackson of Madison; two sisters, Teresa (Al) Larson of Juda, Donna (Jeff) Blair of Warren, IL; two brothers, Denny Zimmerman of Twin Grove, Don (Julie) Zimmerman of Juda; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Roger “Bud” (Nancy) Zimmerman.

A celebration of Brad’s life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Nett’s Sports Bar, 1301 17th Street, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Brad’s name to the Green County Humane Society. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
