Betty Ann Albertson, age 88 of Monroe, died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Monroe Hospice Home. She was born on April 8, 1932 in Monroe, the daughter of Chester and Alice (Nybroten) Johnson. She graduated from Argyle High School in 1950. Betty married Kendall Dean Albertson in 1952 in Dubuque, Iowa. She worked as a nursing assistant at Monroe Hospital for 40 years, retiring in 1994. Betty was a member of Grace Lutheran Church; she enjoyed sewing, gardening and baking.

She is survived by her children: Marie (Paul) Dammen of Monroe, Sandra (David) Beutel of Brodhead, Jeffrey (Kristina) Albertson of Monroe, Diana (Robert) Heitz of Argyle, and Brenda Welty of Monroe. 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Siblings: Kenneth (Bertha) Johnson of Argyle, Adeline Zoeller of Monticello, Robert (Pat) Johnson of Monroe, Sylvia (Bob) Rygh of Beloit and Chester Johnson of Monroe. Grandchildren: Danny, Josh, Lisa, Brandi, Rob, Nick, Sarah, and Christopher: great-grandchildren: Hailey, Ally, Cole, Tillie, Willa, Robert, Addisyn, Charlee, and Levi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Larry, Stanley and David, a sister, Sena in infancy; and sister-in-law, Janis Johnson.

Private memorial services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor John Tabaka officiating. Burial will be in York Cemetery. SHRINER HAGER GOHKE Funeral Home is assisting the family.
