SOUTH WAYNE — The Woodford State Bank and Pecatonica Co-Op partnered to host a groundbreaking celebration on Sept. 14 to celebrate the new additions that they will see to both sides of their building which is located at 210 Wis. 11, South Wayne, WI 53587. Both businesses look forward to the remodel and expansion, which will be contracted by Consolidated Construction Co., Inc.
The member-owned Pecatonica Co-Op has provided the South Wayne community with gas, diesel, and lubricants since 1932. In addition, The South Wayne Mart, which is owned by the Pecatonica Co-Op, has been important to South Wayne, providing locals and travelers of Highway 11 with quality fuel and a variety of food options since 1988.
Woodford State Bank is a locally owned community bank, established in 1915. The branch in South Wayne was established on October 15, 2001. Woodford State Bank has six branches located in Green and Lafayette counties, which include the main office in Monroe, along with branches in Argyle, Blanchardville, South Wayne, New Glarus, and Darlington.
