MONROE - An Argyle woman sustained serious injuries in a one-vehicle rollover crash Monday and had to be transported via MedFlight to University of Wisconsin Hospital.
Jacquelin R. Hartwig, 83, was westbound on Wisconsin 81 east of Skinner Hollow Road, Jordan Township, when she lost control of her black four-door and slid into the ditch hitting several rocks and boulders, which caused the vehicle to overturn. She was extricated by the Browntown Fire Department and transported via EMS to Monroe Clinic Hospital before she was flown to UW Wisconsin Hospital due to the severity of her injuries.
The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
Sheriff's deputies and Browntown First Response also assisted at the scene of the crash.
