As road work on a roundabout continues at the intersection of Wis. 69 and County C in Monticello, the state has closed off the highway from regular traffic as of Monday, July 13.

The highway is closed between Cow Path Lane in New Glarus to Bushnell Creek near Monroe, and will remain closed through the end of August. After the roundabout is complete, crews will also replace the Wis. 69 bridge over Little Sugar River, as well as replace nine culverts along 12 miles of roads. The posted detour route utilizes Wis. 11, Wis. 81, Wis. 78 and Wis. 39.
