Wilkinson retires from Wis. bank

MONROE - Thomas J. Wilkinson retired from Wisconsin Bank and Trust, a Madison-based community bank, on Dec. 31. Wilkinson will remain Chairman of the Board.

Wilkinson joined Wisconsin Bank and Trust in 1998 and served as chairman and CEO until 2013. Prior to Wisconsin Bank and Trust, Wilkinson was president and CEO of First National Bancorp Inc., Madison. He also served as executive vice president of Valley Bank and Trust, South Bend, Ind., and president and COO of American National Bank and Trust, also in South Bend.

Wilkinson has also served on the boards of several companies and has been involved in the community including chairing the finance committee for Forward Wisconsin Investment and St. Victor Church and School. He served on the board of directors of Green County Family YMCA, WNIT Public Television and Lalumiere School. He chaired the Monroe Clinic Capital Fund Drive and the United Way Major Donor Campaign, served as vice president of the Green County American Cancer Society and participated in the Bankers for Grass Roots Government committee of the WBA.
