Two men in Wis. 11 crash still critical

MONROE - The Green County Sheriff's Office has released the identities of three victims hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on Wisconsin 11 on Monday.

According to a news release from the Green County Sheriff's Office, Craig Wendelschafer, 53, of Milton, and his passenger Michael Reavis, 50, of Brodhead, were transported by MedFlight to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison with life-threatening injuries.

The third victim, Holly Griffin, 42, of Janesville, sustained minor injuries and was released from Mercy Hospital in Janesville late Monday.

Wendelschafer and Reavis remain in critical condition.

The crash was determined to have been a head-on collision between Wendelschafer's and Griffin's vehicles. The crash closed a section of Wis. 11 for about four hours while agents investigated and cleared the scene.

The precise cause of the collision has yet to be determined.
