How are local Wisconsin governments spending opioid settlement dollars?

Green County, for instance, had a December 2025 balance of $652,546.51. The county has spent 20.5% of the funds it’s received (about $756,000).

Green County has spent $96,577 on Treatment court, with another $8,900 going to first responder wellness checks.

Those on the committee to recommend and adopt programs, and authorize expenditures of opioid litigation settlement funds include Sheriff Cody Kanable, Bob Gibson, Human Services Supervisor, Dan Williams, Human Services Director, Kay Cram, Human Services Manager, and RoAnn Warden, Public Health Director/Officer. The Green County Human Services Board is the authorizing board.

Lafayette County has a balance of $233,633.89 and has not yet spent any of the monies it received.
