Tornado spotter classes to be offered in March

MONROE - Green County Emergency Management, along with the Monroe Fire Department, MidWest Severe Storm Tracking/Response Center and the National Weather Service, will host two local tornado spotter classes in March. A basic tornado spotter class will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, March 10 at the Monroe Fire Department, 601 West 17th St. An advanced tornado spotter class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 10 at the Monroe Fire Department. Both classes are open to the public.
