NEW GLARUS - A suicidal subject across the street from the New Glarus Elementary School caused the school to go on lockdown Wednesday afternoon. According to a release from the New Glarus Police Department, at approximately 12:24 p.m. Wednesday police responded to a possible suicidal subject in the 10 block of 14th Avenue. Based on initial information it was unknown if the subject was armed.
