MONROE - The Monroe Times will print a newspaper edition on Monday, Feb. 15, despite the fact the U.S. Postal Service will not be making deliveries on President's Day.
Times subscribers will have their Monday papers delivered with Tuesday's mail. However, Monday editions will be available at regular single-copy locations - news racks and in stores - beginning at 7 a.m. Monday. Subscribers can pick up a free copy of Monday's paper at the Times office, 1065 4th Ave. West in Monroe, during business hours.
Local news from Monday's edition also will be published online at www.themonroetimes.com on its regular schedule.
