MONROE - While the Research and Education Association for Clinical Health (REACH) may sound fresh, the organization and mission behind the name is not new to the community. Since 1984, Monroe Medical Foundation has been conducting clinical research while promoting healthcare through education and scholarships.
Under the supervision of executive director Kim Hedeman, Monroe Medical Foundation announced this week its rebranding under the new name, REACH.
The brand transformation is more than just a logo makeover - it is a reflection of the upcoming positive changes to the non-profit organization and the continued commitment to the study of medical research in the community, Hedeman said in a news release. The clinical trials conducted through REACH are the safest and fastest way to find new treatments for many common diseases and disorders, she said.
Along with the re-brand, REACH will host a first-time fundraising event on Aug. 6. For more information on the organization and the event, visit www.reachwi.net or follow the Facebook page www.facebook.com/reachwi.
