MONTICELLO - Allen Brown has been missing since Wednesday afternoon, when he was last seen in Monticello, and his family continues to seek assistance in helping locate the 80-year-old Milton man.

Brown left Monticello at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday after meeting a friend for lunch. He never returned home, prompting his wife of 60 years, Ginnie, and the couple's daughters to contact law enforcement.

Connie Brown, the couple's oldest daughter, said Saturday that information she previously had regarding two "credible" sightings of Brown on Thursday afternoon were actually from Wednesday afternoon. His vehicle, a 2013 white Ford Explorer with Wisconsin vanity plates 60YRS, was sighted at about 3 p.m. Wednesday on the south side of Janesville, and again at about 4:30 that afternoon on Wisconsin 69, heading south in the Monroe area.

However, police also told her that two more sightings by motorists have been reported: His vehicle was spotted at 8:45 a.m. Thursday on the Beltline in Madison and again at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Beloit.

Local media stories and social media are helping spread the word to keep an eye out for her father and his vehicle, Connie Brown said.

Allen Brown is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 173 pounds, is bald and has blue eyes.

Anyone who spots Allen Brown or his vehicle should contact the Milton Police Department at 608-868-6910.
