Man charged after domestic dispute

MONROE - A woman went to the hospital with non-life-threatening facial injuries following a domestic dispute Thursday, Jan. 23.

Monroe police took a report from the victim at the Monroe Clinic Emergency Room where she told the officers her boyfriend allegedly hurt her at a residence.

Christopher L. Sibley, 27, Monroe, was arrested in the 2400 block of 4th Street for disorderly conduct, battery, criminal damage to property, strangulation and intimidating a victim under the Wisconsin Domestic Abuse Law. Sibley received a signature bond of $3,000 on Friday, Jan. 24 at the Green County Circuit Court and was charged for all five felony counts.

Sibley was confined in the Green County Jail.

Chief of Police Fred Kelley said the victim was discharged from the hospital.
