Local businesses to offer services to veterans

MONROE - Area businesses will be celebrating Veterans Day by offering various services to veterans.

Pizza Hut will be offering a free lunch buffet for veterans with Military ID or other proof of service. The buffet will be available from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11 at all Pizza Hut of Southern Wisconsin dine-in locations including Monroe.

Great Clips will offer any customers who come in for a hair cut a free haircut card to give to any active or retired military members of any branch on Monday, Nov. 11 at any Great Clips saloon. Military members can also come in that day for a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use, with proof of service, any day before Tuesday, Dec. 31

Brandi's Bridal Galleria, Etc. will be giving away free wedding gowns to military brides on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Galleria, 12 14th Ave., as part of the "Brides Across America" campaign. Brides Across America donated more than 10,000 gowns to military brides. Brides, or their finance, must be serving in the military either currently deployed, have future deployment, or have been deployed within the last five years to Iraq, Afghanistan, Middle East, Korea or Japan.
