Landlord, tenant housing issues session at Super 8

MONROE - Landlords and all who are interested are invited to attend a free breakfast session titled "Landlord-Tenant Housing Issues: Questions and Answers" from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday in the Super 8 meeting room.

The panel of experts includes Nancy Jensen from the Apartment Association of South Central Wisconsin; Ryan Lindsey, City of Monroe building inspector; and RoAnn Warden, Green County Health Department director. Landlords, attorneys and realtors can ask questions, and information will be shared about maintenance and common code and safety issues and how to address them. Examples include termites, lead, bed bugs and other problems confronting landlords. Also provided will be unbiased resources on affordable options for maintaining property and financing repairs or improvements. A free hot breakfast will be served.

The event is sponsored by the Apartment Association of South Central Wisconsin and by the Green County Council on Housing and Homelessness Prevention.
