'Hot! Hot! Hot!' coming to MHS

MONROE - The Wisconsin Singers will bring its newest show, "Hot! Hot! Hot!," to Monroe at 7 p.m. Friday, April 4 in the auditorium at Monroe High School Auditorium.

Monroe High School graduate Abby Kennison will return to her hometown as a member of this year's troupe. The concert will feature an opening performance by St. Victor's Choir and proceeds from the event will help to support Family Promise of Green County.

"I am most excited to see St. Victor's Choir open the show," Abby Kennison, a fourth-year singer/dancer, said. "When I watch the kids up there singing their hearts out, it brings back so many fond memories for me. Plus, St. Victor's has some of the most delightful and kind-hearted kids we get to work with all year."

Wisconsin Singers is made up of UW-Madison's most talented singers, dancers, and instrumentalists. The Singers is a renowned show group in the nation and travels across country to perform for more than 50,000 people each year.

"Hot! Hot! Hot!" was arranged by writers from The Sing Off! and staged by Broadway choreographers. The 90-minute show features songs from timeless legends like Frank Sinatra and John Denver, chart-topping tunes by pop icons from Justin Timberlake to Beyoncé, and something for the kids to enjoy with selections from Peter Pan and Barney.
