MONROE - District Administrator Cory Hirsbrunner won't be leaving the Monroe school district quite yet - at least, not for Greendale.
Hirsbrunner was among the three finalist candidates for the superintendent position at Greendale Schools, located near Milwaukee. But last week the Greendale school board voted to hire Dr. Gary Kiltz as superintendent, according to a news release.
Hirsbrunner has been with the Monroe school district for more than 20 years and has served as district administrator since 2012.
She said earlier this month she hasn't made any decisions to leave Monroe and was "just keeping her options open" in vying for the Greendale position.
