MONROE - Andrew N. Allen, 64, Freeport, was charged with a Class H felony charge of repeat bail jumping on Dec. 8 for reportedly stealing $175 worth of merchandise from the Swiss Colony outlet store in Monroe.

Allen reportedly stole a 19-inch television and a gaming system from the store. The theft is a Class A misdemeanor, but the conditions set by a previous theft charge in August outline that Allen commit no crime during his bail. The repeat offense is a felony violation worthy of up to six years in prison, $10,000 fine or both.

Allen has a court date scheduled for Jan. 23.
