MONROE – Injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 12:56 p.m. Dec. 21 on English Settlement Road and Wis. 104, Town of Albany. Ran Yoo, 37, Brodhead, was southbound when a northbound vehicle operated by John J. Cwiok, 80, Hanover Park, failed to yield right of way when making a left turn and hit Yoo’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed. Cwiok’s vehicle had airbag deployment. Cwiok was cited for failure to yield right of way making a left turn. 

● Kimber L. Raemisch, 34, Monroe, was transported by EMS to the Monroe Clinic Emergency Room for evaluation of injuries sustained from a single-vehicle rollover crash at 10:38 p.m. Dec. 23 in the N2100 block of Dill Road, Town of Cadiz. She was northbound when she looked down at her phone and was driving on the east shoulder when looked back up. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. She was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating under the influence. She was also cited for failure to maintain control of vehicle and inattentive driving. She was released to a responsible party. Green County EMS, Browntown Fire Department and Browntown First Response assisted. 

On Dec. 24: 

● No injuries were reported from a car vs. sign accident at 12:18 a.m. on County F and Tin Can Road, Town of Albany. David K. Meinolf, 41, Albany, was westbound on County F when he swerved to hit an animal and hit a traffic sign. His vehicle sustained functional damage. 

● No injuries were reported from a vehicle in the ditch at 8:15 p.m. in the N9500 block of Legler Road, Town of Brooklyn. Joanne E. Lien, 75, Brooklyn, was southbound attempting to turn onto Alpine Road when she entered the ditch and got stuck due to the fog. Her vehicle sustained functional damage.
