MONROE — On Thursday, Dec. 12:
● Cara N. Carper, 50, Argyle, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 1:11 p.m. in the N5500 block of County J, Town of Washington. She was northbound when she lost control due to ice on the road. Her vehicle went into the ditch. It sustained functional damage and was towed out of the ditch before Carper drove it from the scene.
● Haley W. Brisky, 34, New Glarus, and her passenger reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 3:27 p.m. in the N9000 block of County O, Town of New Glarus. She was southbound when she lost control due to ice on the road. The vehicle went into the ditch. It sustained damage but was driven from the scene.
● Deputies, Green County EMS and the Juda Fire Department responded at 8:09 p.m. to a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries in the W3300 block of Wis. 11, Town of Sylvester. Bianca M. Garcia, 30, Elkhorn, was eastbound when she passed another eastbound vehicle and collided with a westbound vehicle driven by Destiny R. Craig, 21, Janesville. Craig reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. She was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance. Garcia sustained non-life threatening injuries. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. She was cited for driving with a suspended license and passing into oncoming traffic.
On Friday, Dec. 13:
● Keazia C. Reed, 19, Monroe, reported minor injuries from a car vs. power pole crash at 5:27 p.m. in the N8100 block of County D, Town of Exeter. She was southbound negotiating a curve when she reported that she swerved to miss a deer in the road. She lost control of the vehicle, which entered the west ditch and collided with a power pole. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Alliant Energy responded to repair the pole.
On Saturday, Dec. 14:
● Connor K. Shrier, 18, Brodhead, sustained non-life threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash reported at 10:47 p.m. in the W600 block of Ten Eyck Road, Town of Decatur. He was eastbound when he reported that he swerved to miss a deer in the road. The vehicle went off the road and struck an embankment. The vehicle sustained damage but was driven from the scene.
On Sunday, Dec. 15:
● A two-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported at 2:01 p.m. in the Town of Monroe. Tyler A. Williams, 22, Monticello, was northbound on County N approaching Iliff Road when Tracy L. McAffe, 35, Monroe, pulled out onto County N headed southbound from Iliff Road. Their vehicles collided. McAffe’s vehicle entered the east ditch of County N, where it hit a road sign and a fence before coming to rest in a field. Williams’ vehicle entered the same ditch and came to rest. Williams’ vehicle was towed. McAffe’s vehicle had airbag deployment and was left on scene. McAffe was cited for failure to yield right-of-way.
● A juvenile passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash reported at 5:41 p.m. in the W5300 block of County FF, Town of Monroe. The driver, Christopher A. Humphrey, 33, Monroe, was westbound when he lost control on a curve. The vehicle exited the road and collided with an embankment. Humphrey reported no injuries. The juvenile passenger was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER by Green County EMS. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Humphrey was cited for driving with a suspended license.
On Tuesday, Dec. 17:
● At 7:21 a.m., deputies began investigating a vehicle vs. semi unit crash that had occurred in the W6800 block of Wis. 11, Town of Clarno. John C. McDermott, 47, Browntown, was eastbound when he tried to pass the semi in front of him. His vehicle and the semi unit made contact, causing his vehicle to enter the ditch. No injuries were reported by either driver. McDermott’s vehicle sustained minor damage. The semi unit, driven by Scott M. McDonald, 36, Darlington, was undamaged.
● Jericho Z. Blades, 18, Monticello, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 1:11 p.m. in the N6200 block of Cemetery Road, Town of Washington. Deputies, New Glarus EMS and the Monticello Fire Department responded. Monticello police assisted on scene. Blades was southbound when he lost control, entered the ditch and collided with several trees. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Blades was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control.
On Wednesday, Dec. 18:
● Betty Albertson, 82, Monroe, was transported by Green County EMS for non-life threatening injuries from a semi tractor trailer vs. car crash reported at 11:46 a.m. in the N3100 block of Wis. 81, Town of Monroe. The driver of the semi unit, Nathan Cody, 23, Mineral Point, was uninjured. Albertson’s Buick LaSabre was towed. The crash remains under investigation.
● Deputies were notified at 7:27 p.m. of a crash in the W3500 block of County FF, Town of Sylvester. Caitlyn R. Coates, 20, Streamwood, Illinois, was eastbound when a hay bale entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. She reported minor injuries. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, with airbag deployment. It was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, Nov. 26:
● Glen J. Wiegel, 80, Belmont, reported hitting a deer at 3:03 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. The 2011 Ford sustained minor damage.
● A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 11:06 p.m. on Ipswitch Road, Town of Belmont. Todd J. Walton, 45, Benton, was southbound when he failed to negotiate a turn, causing his vehicle to go off the road, slide into the ditch and come to rest in the mud due to weather conditions. The 2005 Ford was towed from the ditch. It had minor damage. Walton was cited for driving without vehicle insurance.
On Wednesday, Nov. 27:
● An accident involving two semis was reported at 10:34 p.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont. Joseph G. Twohig, 63, Fond du Lac, had a 2015 Freightliner with a 2016 Brenning trailer parked in a lot when it was backed into by a 2015 Kenworth semi and trailer operated by Hodelin M. Enrique, 37, West Palm Beach, Florida. No injuries were reported. Both semis sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene.
On Friday, Nov. 29:
● Konnye J. Hull, 52, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 2:44 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. No injuries were reported. The 2012 Ford sustained minor damage and was towed.
● Dylan R. C. Clauer, 22, Shullsburg, declined transport to a hospital following a rollover crash reported at 5:24 p.m. on County E, Town of Darlington. He was southbound when he swerved to avoid a deer, causing his vehicle to cross the road, enter the embankment, roll over while striking a fence and then come to rest in a pasture. The 2017 Ford sustained severe damage. It was towed. Clauer was cited for a tire tread depth violation. The Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted on scene. Darlington police assisted with traffic control.
On Saturday, Nov. 30:
● Richard J. McDonald, 57, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 3:32 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington. His 2014 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 6:10 p.m. on Whiteside Road, Town of Wiota. Keith J. Peterson, 41, Argyle, hit a tree that was blocking the road. His 2006 Dodge sustained moderate damage but was driven from the scene. Wiota Township assisted a deputy on scene.
