JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP - A Freeport woman, who law enforcement officers say was driving drunk, was Med Flighted to Madison Friday evening following a single-vehicle rollover accident.
Sarah J. Anderson, 33, faces numerous charges in the incident, including third-offense operating while intoxicated.
According to Green County Sheriff officials, deputies responded to a residence on Hummer Road in Jefferson Township at 5:19 p.m. Friday for a complaint of a subject causing a disturbance. Anderson, who was identified as the offender, fled the scene before officers arrived. Deputies pursued Anderson, who lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle rolled three times and Anderson was ejected. She was transported by Med Flight to University of Wisconsin Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Charges pending against Anderson also include disorderly conduct and knowingly fleeing an officer, as well as fourth-offense operating after suspension, failure to maintain control of her vehicle, and failure to fasten her seatbelt.
The Juda Fire Department and Green County EMS responded to the scene.
