Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:30 p.m. Monday on Cold Springs Road, west of Wisconsin 69 in Monroe township. Deputies report Christopher P. Tackett, 24, Monroe, was traveling north on Cold Springs Road and failed to negotiate a curve. Tackett's vehicle went into the ditch, up an embankment, then overturned onto its roof. Tackett left the scene of the accident, but was later located. Tackett sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Tackett was cited for failure to notify police of an accident, inattentive driving and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. Tackett was released pending court.

• Tamira L. Langhammer, 42, Brooklyn, collided with a deer at about 8:15 p.m. Monday in the N9600 block of Wis. 92, Town of Exeter, south of Belleville. The vehicle received minor damage and was removed from the scene by Langhammer.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Timothy A. Polkinghorn, 49, Mineral Point, reported striking a deer at about 6:45 p.m. Monday on County CC in Fayette township.
