Monroe Police

MONROE - Minor injuries were reported during a vehicle and trailer accident at 4:46 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of N. 11th Avenue. Reports indicate that Beth A. Jarosz, 39, Monroe, hit a parked utility trailer. Jarosz had minor injuries but declined medical treatment.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 5:48 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 39 near York Center Road in the Town of York. Reports indicate that Jamie L. Hendrickson, 34, Blanchardville, was driving westbound on Wis. 39 when she crested the hill and saw a black truck driving left of center. Hendrickson started to drive on the shoulder to avoid hitting the truck, but lost control of the vehicle, went across the roadway and into the south ditch where the vehicle went down an embankment. The vehicle overturned until it came to a rest on its top. Hendrickson was transported by Blanchardville EMS to a Dodgeville Hospital for injuries she received in the crash. The car had severe damage and was towed from the scene. The black truck did not stop.

- No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 7:44 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 and Allen Road in the Town of Cadiz. Reports indicate that Paulette Block, 61, Browntown, was stopped at the stop sign at Allen Rd and Wis. 11. A second vehicle driven by Ervin Allen, 61, Pearl City, Ill., was traveling north on Allen Road toward Wis. 11 when he came up behind Block's vehicle, and hit the rear end of Block's vehicle. There was moderate damage to both vehicles but they were driven from the scene. No citations were issued.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Bradley L. Root, 55, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 12:35 a.m. Friday on County G in the Town of Fayette.

- Timothy J. Pehl, 47, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 5:50 a.m. Friday on Meier Road in the Town of Wayne.
