MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 69 at Patina Lane in Clarno township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Charles F.A. Hall, 79, Hardy, Va., made a U-turn and collided with a vehicle driven by Amanda M. Hayenga, 22, Lena, Ill. Hayenga sustained an injury but declined medical attention. Her vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Hall's vehicle received moderate damage and was towed. Hall was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn and released pending court.
One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:15 p.m. Thursday in the W7000 block of Wis. 39 in New Glarus township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Evan R. Dorn, 16, New Glarus, failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and hit several trees. He was taken by New Glarus Emergency Medical Services to the hospital. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
No one was injured when a truck topper hit a vehicle at about 3 p.m. Thursday in the N5500 block of Wis. 69 in Washington township. Deputies report a truck driven by Timothy R. Jeffers, 43, Cambridge, was northbound when the topper on his truck blew off and hit a vehicle driven by Shirley J. Morgan, 57, Juda. Morgan's vehicle received moderate damage.
A vehicle driven by Joseph H. Maynard, 55, Milton, collided with a deer at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 11 and County KK in Jefferson township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
