Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 2:58 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 21st Street. Reports indicate that James W. Zimmerman, 59, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Carolyn A. Severson, 79, Katy, Texas. Zimmerman was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 4:11 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Wis. 11 and Wis. 81 in the Town of Spring Grove. Reports indicate that Lynette Wenger, 39, Warren, Ill., was eastbound on Wis. 11, approaching Wis. 81, when a second vehicle driven by Jenna Folstad, 16, Monticello, was westbound on Wis. 11, approaching Wis. 81, turned onto Wis. 81 and drove into the traffic lane of Wenger and hit her. There was moderate damages to both vehicles and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Folstad was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way while making a left turn.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 7:03 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 11, near Smock Valley Road, in the Town of Monroe. Reports indicate that Matthew J. Frey, 21, Monroe, was eastbound on Wis. 11 when he hit a deer. The vehicle had minor damages and was driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 8 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 11, west of Steiner Road, in the Town of Cadiz. Reports indicate that John A. Spoden, 78, Janesville, was driving eastbound on Wis. 11 when he hit a deer. The vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:52 a.m. Monday on Wisconsin 59, near Meyers Road, in the Town of Sylvester. Reports indicate that Abbie A. Stagliano, 21, Monroe, hit a deer. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

- Minor injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 1:19 p.m. Monday on Park Road, near Decatur Road, in the Town of Decatur. Reports indicate that Connor J. Brown, 16, Brodhead, was traveling on Park Road when he looked down at his radio and drifted in the east-side ditch line. Brown overcorrected, went into the west-side ditch and lost control. The vehicle overturned onto its roof and slid down the road. Brown received a minor injury but didn't seek medical attention at the scene. The vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:42 p.m. Monday on Church Road, near Highpoint Road, in the Town of Washington. Reports indicate that Julianna R. Ruegsegger, 38, Monticello. She was southbound on Church Road when she hit a deer. There was moderate damage to the vehicle and it was driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:51 p.m. Monday on Wis. 69, near Rolling Acres Lane, in the Town of Monroe. Reports indicate that Karen A. Stollenwerk, 62, Monroe, was northbound on Wis. 69 when she hit a deer. The vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Lee R. Andrews, 33, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:16 p.m. Monday on Wis. 81 in the Town of Argyle.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:51 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in the Town of Argyle. Reports indicate that Rhonda K. Schlafli, 58, Argyle, hit a deer. There was moderate damage to the vehicle.
