Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 3:11 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of 16th Avenue. Reports indicate that a vehicle hit another parked vehicle and the occupants of the offending vehicle fled the scene on foot. The occupants were located a short distance from the scene. Jenna M. Kundert, 23, Monroe, was arrested for driving while under the influence of an intoxicant, hit-and-run unattended vehicle, and obstructing an officer. The passenger, Allyshia L. Truong, 23, Monroe, was cited for obstructing an officer. Both were released.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - New Glarus police responded to a hit-and-run accident at 7:02 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of 3rd Street. Reports indicate that an unknown truck was traveling northbound on 3rd Street when it sideswiped a parked car owned by Kim R. Bright, 54, New Glarus. The truck then hit a mailbox before leaving the scene of the crash. The driver of the truck did not report the crash. Bright's vehicle had moderate driver's side damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 5:12 a.m. Friday on County K, at County KS, in the Town of Jefferson. Reports indicate that Jonathon Campbell, 23, Orangeville, was driving southbound on County K, when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guard rail. The vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 10:41 a.m. Friday in the N900 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Clarno. Reports indicate that a Gina Jones, 54, Freeport, was driving northbound on Wis. 69 when she did not see traffic stopped because of construction on Wis. 69. Jones hit the passenger side of a vehicle driven by a Mary Vieregg, 60, Wheaton. Both vehicles had moderate damages and were driven from the scene. Jones was cited for inattentive driving.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 11:09 a.m. Friday on Wis. 59 and Rechsteiner Rd in the Town of Sylvester. Reports indicate that Pamela Wollin, 50, Monroe, was driving on Wis. 59 when she hit a deer. The vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene. The deer fled the scene and could not be located.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 11:03 p.m. Friday on County M, near County Y, in the Town of Jordan. Reports indicate that Kendra L. Bunnell, 17, Browntown was traveling south on County M when she hit a deer. The vehicle had minor damage to the windshield.

- Injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 11:47 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 59, at Edmunds Road, in the Town of Albany. Reports indicate that David R. Pluss, 49, Albany, was traveling eastbound on Wis. 59 when he came up behind a tractor and wagon driven by Eldon F. Grossen, 70, Monticello. Pluss did not see a blinker on Grossen's wagon and decided to pass the tractor on the left. The tractor then turned left onto Edmunds Road. Pluss could not avoid the tractor and hit it in the rear tire side and front tire. Pluss sustained an injury from the crash but declined medical attention at the scene. Grossen was not injured in the crash and he was wearing his seatbelt. Pluss' vehicle had severe front and right side damage and was towed from the scene. The tractor had very minor damage and was driven from the scene.

- Injuries were reported during an ATV accident at 1:22 p.m. Saturday on a private property off of Five Corner Road in the Town of Clarno. Reports indicate that Scott T. Creed, 17, Monroe, was operating an ATV when he approached a fence line and was "clothes-lined" by a strand of barbed wire fence. Creed was not ejected from the ATV. He was transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital ER by private vehicle for injuries received in the crash. There were no reports of damage to the ATV.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 3:03 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 11, east of Smock Valley Road, in the Town of Monroe. Reports indicate that Wayne Yoder Jr., 42, Wautoma, was westbound on Wis. 11 when he hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damages and was removed from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 7:04 p.m. Sunday on County H, near Marty Road, in the Town of New Glarus. Reports indicate that Leah L. Hanson, 45, New Glarus, was eastbound on County H when she hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damages and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Michael R. Gutsch, 50, Monroe, reported hitting a deer at 6:24 a.m. Friday on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

- Minor injuries were reported during a motorcycle accident at 3:47 p.m. Saturday on County N in the Town of Blanchard. Reports indicate that Allen E. Kolb, 45, Blanchardville, was traveling northbound on County N when he hit a deer. Kolb was ejected from the motorcycle. Blanchard Fire and EMS assisted the scene, but Kolb refused medical transport. The motorcycle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:20 p.m. Saturday on County M in the Town of Wiota. Reports indicate that Amie J. Ballard, 28, Browntown, hit a deer. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- Deputies, along with Rural Medical Ambulance and Darlington Fire, responded to a rollover accident at 2:25 a.m. Sunday on County E in the Town of Darlington. Upon arrival, there was no driver or occupants located. The driver, Lindsay L. Russell, 24, Shullsburg, was later located at a residence in Shullsburg. Russell was cited for failure to notify police of an accident, failure to have control of vehicle, driving left of center, and hit-and-run damage to property. The vehicle had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
