DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• Mark P. Humphrey, 36, Waukesha, received injuries in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 151, Belmont Township, at 4:36 a.m. Humphrey was northbound when he lost control of the semi tractor-trailer unit he was driving, went into the median and the semi jack-knifed. Humphrey was transported to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital by Belmont Ambulance. The semi was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. Belmont police and Belmont Fire Department assisted at the scene.

• Three people sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Center Drive Road, Elk Grove Township, at 3:30 p.m. Jeffrey A. Webb, 37, Belmont, was eastbound when his vehicle left the roadway, hit a powerpole and overturned. Webb and his two juvenile passengers were transported to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Robert D. Brown, 84, Brodhead, sustained non life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash in the N5800 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Washington, at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday. Brown was southbound when he reported a northbound vehicle entered his lane while he was negotiating a curve. Brown reported he attempted to evade the vehicle and traveled across the northbound lane, leaving the roadway and traveling through a snow-covered field for about 205 feet before hitting several trees and coming to a stop. Brown was transported by Monroe EMS to Monroe Clinic Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Brown's vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Brown was reportedly unable to provide a description of the northbound vehicle. Deputies and Monticello First Response assisted at the scene.
