MONROE - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of 20th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Kathleen K. Rinheart, 51, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Lucy M. Ammon, 64, Monroe. Rinheart and her passenger, Helen P. Schmidt, 89, Monroe, were taken to the Monroe Clinic for non-life threatening injuries. Rinheart was cited for inattentive driving.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday at 25th Street and 9th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Virgilio Ocampo Jimenez, 35, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Ryan M. Ellingson, 21, Monroe. The vehicles received moderate damage.

MONROE - Joshua M. Walker, 25, Albany, was arrested for drunken driving, driving too fast for conditions and inattentive driving following a one-vehicle accident at about 11 p.m. Thursday on Bump Road. Deputies report his vehicle hit a bridge guardrail and overturned in a stream. He was able to extricate himself from the vehicle. Walker was taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries. Walker was arrested by the Albany Police Department for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. He was jailed. His vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
A Monticello squad car driven by Marcus O. Hicks, 25, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 1 a.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 69 south of County NN in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
A vehicle driven by Jayson S. Edmunds, 37, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday in the N4200 block of Wis. 69. The car received minor damage.
